Sightseeing
Limnia

Limnia, haven of Volissos village, is a settlement bustling with life during the summer months. It consists of a picturesque harbor, a small pebbly beach, accommodation facilities and some cottages.

The historic island of Psara can be reached from the harbour within two hours. The traditional village of Volissos with the impressive Byzantine castle on top lies very close to Limnia. In this place visitors can find whatever they need since a pharmacy, mini markets, cafeterias, restaurants and ATMs operate in the vicinity.

The beaches of the region are plenty and cover all tastes. Lefkathia beach is a popular destination suitable for games and fun on the sand until late at night.

A lot of secluded beaches with natural shade spread around Limnia such as Limnos, Lampsa and Agia Markella which are characterised by their crystal clear water.
